The Texas hill country has become our home. The songs from my last CD, Barbed Wire, came about as I worked the land here and my old Alvarez read the signs. The new CD, same deal. The land, my Alvarez, and now an old Gibson J50, Hope you like it!
We have changed the title of the new CD. Last month I wrote a new song for the CD and it seems perfect for the title. So, the new CD is called Blessed By The West. I wrote this song with the amazing Randy Palmer. Release date 4/22/2024! CD party 8/18/2024 at Gruene Hall!
This is a link to our pre-release song. “Tied to the ride” (The cowboy way). I wrote this when I saw I picture on a magazine of a little cowboy wearing his first winning buckle. It took me back to my first mare and when I did the same. Most of all reminded me again, about the cowboy code , that we live by. Hope you like it!

My occasional co-write Henry is working with me on a new songs. He prefers to sleep in Merel's Stetson and only look up and glare when I am doing something stupid. He is a cat :)

It has been a few years and I always thank the CMA of Texas for awarding me with Best Western Song 2019, Barbed Wire, and, Vocalist of the year 2019. I really don't see these often they are up in the Cribworks Studio but when I do, they remind me to just work harder.
