Hi everyone,

Well, winter is officially here. It was 24º this morning and I LOVE IT!!! The seasons change to remind us that all things come to pass and that in that ending, with patience, will always come a new beginning.

So, the metaphor is not lost on what is going on here. I took a year off to rediscover who I am and in the process found so much more. My love for music, my friends, my fans...all have become even that much more important to me. Sometimes, you really do have to step away to really 'see' all that you have. This has certainly been the case for me and my music. Thankfully, what I realized was that music was essential to my being and that was the motivation I needed to get back to performing and writing for a new project. Speaking of which...

We really are almost done now and so it seems that the early spring will be right for release. Cowboy's Daughter has been a long time coming and has taken all of my time. For the most part, this has been good. However, I miss performance a lot...especially because this is when I get to see so many old friends...and have the opportunity to create new friendships as well. Soon enough, the band and I will be back to it. We can't wait.

As for all else, our lives are filled with great blessings as we come into this new year. I am so thankful for my family and dear frends...and most importantly...all of you who continue to support my music. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Peace and Love,

"Wow, here's a young comer that has captured the industrial side of Emmylou Harris and has a better handle on it than Harris. While it's always rough to follow in someone's footsteps, the world wise Pierce brings her own stuff to the table and makes you wonder how the majors have missed out on her." - Midwest Record Recap

"The first thing that jumps out at you when listening to Sarah Pierce is that voice. It's powerful and emotional, a little bit country, and a little bit rock and roll. Pierce's voice has been compared to Emmylou Harris, Nanci Griffith, Joni Mitchell and Shawn Colvin. That's pretty impressive company." - Suite 101.

"I love Sarah's music...she touches the heart and soul of every listener and she is a great addition to my national radio show anytime I get her into the mix ;-) "

—Laney Goodman, host of nationally syndicated radio show Women In Music
